Decorative Critter Clocks

Decorate any room in your home or office with our 10 inch wall clock. Black plastic case. Requires 1 AA battery (included).  These clocks will put a smile on your face every time you look at them.

This clock shows a little Green Cheek Conure, a bird that is full of personally. Green Cheek Critter Clock The Green Cheek makes a great family pet, may talk, easy to maintain and good choice for "That Family Bird".  The little Green Cheek loves to sit and watch TV with the family and of course steal your food. As with all pets, study up before purchasing a real critter.

The Mollucan Cockatoo.  The Mollucan is one of the largest Cockatoo birds that are readily available today.  Big CockatooThe one you see on this picture is a "Rescue" bird and he's made a great companion.  Our Mollucan loves to be petted and held.  Like any Cockatoo, they require large amounts of attention, don't consider the Mollucan unless you have lots of time every day to spend  with it.  Yes, this huge bird requires a lot of attention and time but the benefits are well worth it. As one would expect, clean up and maintenance is higher on this large bird versus a Green Cheek or other small bird.   I don't recommend a Mollucan in an apartment or close home situation, they can make more noise than a powerful locomotive, especially early mornings and late in the day!

This is a male African Redbellied Parrot.  Males have the bright orange/red belly and eyes as you see here.Red Belly  The Redbelly makes a great pet for a person with multiple birds, or if you can only have one bird, the Redbelly is a great choice.  Maintenance is very low on this bird, he's perfectly happy without being in the same room with you.  They like to have their beak rubbed, loves to sit on your lap or shoulder.  They are excellent flyers and can turn sharper than an F-15!  Easy maintenance, beautiful, doesn't require a large cage such as a Cockatoo does, are but a few of the many reasons to have such a creature.  Do let this critter out in a roomy area and watch him fly, it's awesome and oh the beauty of the African Redbellied Parrot

Shown are a male and female Solomon Island Eclectus Parrots.  The male is mainly green with some red on and under his wings.  EclectusThe female is red and a blue color that just can't be described, the beauty of these two birds can not be described in words. Their feathers seem more like hair than feathers as we know them.  Normally the males are really mellow but the females can be somewhat nippy unless you spend a lot of time with them.  The two birds you see here are "Rescue" birds we received from owners who just didn't have enough available hours that these beautiful creatures need.  Either Eclectus is a great choice for that person who wants only wants one bird.  While we've had Eclectus in our indoor "General Population" they seem to be happier in an area that is Eclectus only and really love the one-on-one time.  The Eclectus is happy just sitting on your shoulder or lap while you work on the computer or watch TV.  They don't really care that much for getting rubbed on. These birds are relatively quiet and make good apartment pets.  If I could have only two birds, it would be a pair of Solomon Island  Eclectus parrots.

This is a Grey Hairstreak Butterfly (Strymon Melinus). This little butterfly is found throughout the USA but enjoys the warm climate.Grey Hairstreak  These beautiful butterflies are normally active between late March and late October.  Like most Hairstreak's, they often can be found with their wings open, what an awesome sight!  My wife snapped this picture back in 2006.  Unlike the birds shown above, the Hairstreak does not make for a good pet but they are pretty to look at and VERY low maintenance:-)
